NEW YORK, March 10.
The New. York State. Assembly, by 102 votes' to 42, rejected a resolution for the ratification of a child labouramendment to the Federal Constitution. It is one of President Roosevelt's pet pieces of legislation, the ratification of which he has frequently urged
Forty-one Democrats and 61 Republicans voted against it and 33 Democrats and nine Republicans for it.
