JAPANESE ATHLETES.
The performances of, the. two Japanese athletes K. Murakoso and K. -Togarni clearly indicate that they are two-of the-finest men who^have'ever, toured this country, and their appearance in Wellington on Saturday week is already arousing great "interest. The .Japanese are now getting right into stride (Togami has recovered, f torn. his attack,of. tonsilitis), -and it,is,,anticipated that after further competition at the New Zealand championships at Auckland .on Frdiay.and Sat* I urday they will .be in their very best form when they appear at the Basin 1 Reserve. ~.Murakoso_ ..has \. .already, broken the national three-mile record, and Togami the hop, step, .and Juriip .figures; and-whatever. they,]might?do an Auckland they will be eager to do still better in Wellington.
