WADESTOWN BRANCH MEETS
The Wadestown branch of the League of Mothers' first meeting for the year was attended by a large gathering of members and friends, and as this meeting was the tenth anniversary, of the formation of the branch, many visitors from other branches were presenVThe stage, decorated with gay flowers and foliage, presented a very charming.appearance.- - Mrs. Rollett (president) spoke of the pleasure it gave her to be present on such en occasion. She was pleased to see so many of the pioneer members, and to be able.to.welcome.them. .
Congratulations were received from Mesdames Kersley, Wall, and Young, each cf whom gave an inspiring and helpful message.
The early history of the league and a few reminiscences by Mrs. A. Stone (the first president) were listened to with interest. Tribute was paid io the good work done by the first secretary, Mrs. K. McDonald. Musical items were rendered by Mrs. Turner, who sang "Trees" by special request, and
