MAZZINI CHANGES HANDS
Mr. A. McDonald, of New Brighton, a newcomer to the ranks of owners, has purchased Mazzini, who was formerly trained at Bulls by A. E. Neale, and the gelding has gone into S. Barr's stable at Riccarton, Mazzini is a three-year-old by Chief. Ruler from the Australian-bred mare Dignified, by Dignity from Queen Warbler, by Comedy King. He has raced a few times and he was a winner over six furlongs at the Otaki Meeting in December. He was secured by his previous owner, Mr. A. Giorgi, for 170 guineas as a yearling.
