PROFITS FOR THE YEAR

DUNEDIN, This Day.
The annual report of the New Zealand Drug Company states that the balance brought forward from last year was £35,059, and the net profit for this year £50,129. An interim dividend paid for the half-year ended July 31 at 3£ per cent, totalled- £20.405, leaving £64,784 to be applied as follows:— Payment of dividend at 4£ per cent., making 8 per cent, for the year, £26,235; contribution to staff provident fund, £2500; carry forward to the new year, £36,049.
