Felan beat, the New Zealanders; S-.. Mayson and. J. Gunn, ; 6-2, i 6-4; Pails and: Felan then, created, a great surprise- by beating' a strong'pair in J,. Gilchrist and. H. Lindo, 6-2, 6-3. In the mixed doubles, under 21 years, semi-finals the New Zefalander Brown and Miss. J.- Prior beat Gunn and Miss G. Farrell, 2-6; 6-2,, 6-2.
