Profit of Australian Wood Pipe Company Ltd., for the half-year ended December 31, according to an interim report, was £2678, compared with £5343 for the full year to June 30, 1936. An interim dividend is not recommended, as it is considered advisable to conserve financial resources in view of the expenditure involved in starting ane operating the new factory in Tasmania. The interim report of last year, while not stating the profit for the period, announced that it was sufficient to pay a dividend at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum for lhe half-year, requiring £2625. The dividend for the full year of: 1935-36 was 5 per cent,
