CHRISTCHURCH SALE.
The third Christchurch sale is to. be held next Friday. The catalogue exceeds slightly the 26,000-bale allocation. The catalogues and the order of sale are:— Bales. H. Matson and Co ' 2,754 National Mortgage and Agency Co., Ltd 3,153 Dalgety and Co., Ltd 6,584 New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd 1,437 New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd 4,694 Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd. .. 7,612 Total 26,234 The wool to be sold is typical of a third-sale offering. There is a failproportion -df back-country clips, with the usual third-sale representation of crossbreds. Rather more than the usual weight of pieces and crutchings will be included, because at the first two sales growers were so anxious to quit their.fleece wools that more than the usual quantity of other types was held over.
