DRIVER GRAVELY INJURED

Grave head in juries-and fractures of the ribs were, suffered by Mr. T. W. Murray, assistant manager of the Auckland office' of the Vacuum Oil Company, when the motor-car he was driving left .the main highway at PukapUka, near Warkworth, last evening, arid collided heavily with two roadguiding posts. . Mr. Murray, who is married and aged 50, was thrown through the sunshine i-oof of the car on to the roadway, which- was wet and. greasy. It is thought that the car skidded. Mr. Murray's condition is serious.
