DELIGHTFUL EVENING
N.Z.T.N.A. ENTERTAIN
The Pioneer Club was the scene of a most cheerful and pleasant party when the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association bade farewell to several of their number who are leaving for overseas visits. The reception room and lounge were both in use, and were beautifully decorated with flowers. About 150 guests were present. The idea of the party originated when Miss Bicknell, A.R.R.C, resigned her position as president of the N.Z.T.N.A. after five years of excellent work. She originated a number of things which were of great use to all nurses, and was instrumental in the association being kept intact and not as part of a union.
The guests of honour, as well as Miss Bicknell, included Miss Lambie (who left for Auckland last evening by the Limited on the first stage of her journey to America, where she will take up the Rockefeller Scholarship). Miss Arnold (who with Miss Lambie will be official delegate to the Inter-, national, Council of Nurses, which will be held in London). Misses Kohn,
