LAMB CHEAPER
LONDON MEAT MARKET
Prices of frozen lamb in London are easier on the heavier supplies, according to the weekly cabled report received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. Colder weather is affecting the demand. Wethers and ewes are, meeting with fair demand with prices steady. Beef market: Frozen beef prices are steadj owing to short spot stocks. Chilled beef lores are firm but hindquarters are weaker. Supplies from all sources are rather heavy. For New Zealand porker pigs trade is quiet, with prices easier. Baconers are a shade firmer on the better inquiry.
