NEW SEASON'S LAMB
THE MARKET FOR BEEF

LONDON, March 7. Prices for new season's New Zealand lamb are firm, contrary to expectations as arrivals are at their.heaviest point. Australian lamb is in heavy supply, but it met with an easier market and slow Chilled beef is in steady demand, but frozen beef, of which only small quantities are available, is on a slow market. . ■ ■ * ■■•■••■
