Awards for 1936 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are:—
Luise Rainer, best performance for an actress, in "The Great Ziegfeld."
Paul Muni, best actor, in "The Story of Louis Pasteur."
Gail Sondergaard, best supporting actress, in "Anthony Adverse. 11
Walter Brennan, best supporting actor, in "Come and Get It." Best production, "The Great Ziegfeld."
Best direction, Frank Capra, in "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town."
