REFERENDUM TODAY
ISSUE IN AUSTRALIA
SYDNEY. March 5,
A referendum is being taken throughout Australia tomorrow on alterations in the Federal Constitution to permit of the Commonwealth controlling aviation and the marketing of produce. Advocates for a "yes" vote argue that the issue is one of orderly or disorderly marketing. Advocates of "no" contend that an affirmative vote will lead to dearer food and clothes arid give the Commonwealth unlimited power over every form of buying and selling. _____
