MINER'S DEATH
UNSUCCESSFUL. CLAIM

GREYMOUTH, This Day. In the Supreme Court yesterday before Mr. Justice Northcroft and a jury the Public Trustee, as executor of the estate of Ansley Adam Moore, miner, who was killed on June 5, 1936, by the collapse of. 'a dam on the - Nemona dredging area, claimed £2000 damages on behalf of the widow and son under the Deathsl^ by Accident Compensation Act. ■ .;
The jury; found for the defendant, William Gordon McKay, contractor, holding that there had not been negligence, as alleged.
