RESULT OF OVERHAUL OF
QUEEN MARY

LONDON, March 1.
On the completion of her first Atlantic round trip since the overhaul of] the liner Queen Mary in December, it is stated that she behaved very well and reached, a speed of 30.38 knots on the run to England. "There'was considerably less rolling and vibration has been practically eliminated." said Captain Peel. ''We intend to endeavour to make passengers comfortable. It is not a question of pushing the vessel more than is necessary." ■
The Queen Mary's speed record is 30.63 knots.
