THROUGH A MOUNTAIN
A story reminiscent of the wanderings of Jules Verne's heroes in "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" comes from Wales, where two boys ,of 16 claim to have humbled the highest mountain in the country by walking through Carnarvonshire's Mount Snowdon. Lost in caves about 3000 feet below the summit of Snowdon (3560 feet high) they walked through the heart of the mountain into the open, three miles from where they started.. Sometimes they had to travel on their knees. The boys, John Rees Jones and Hubert Morris, who live in the district, have promised to lead local climbers into this uncharted area. -.''■■■
