PANAMA CANAL CHARGES
WASHINGTON, February 27.
President Roosevelt has asked Congress to enact legislation to abolish the dual system of measurement of vessels using the Panama Canal substituting for it Panama Canal rules of measurement as prescribed by the President. This will entail a reduction of tolls in some cases.
