ACCIDENTS

A number of accidents occurred during the weekend, the injured in each case being taken to Wellington Hospital by the Free Ambulance.

Two motor-cars collided on ihe main road at Glenside at 4.15 p.m. on Saturday. Miss J. Simpson, 57 Sutherland Road, suffered concussion, head huuries, and shock. E. R.-Page received head iniuries,! concussion, and wounds to the face, and E. Box wounds to the forehead.

An elderly man residing at the Salvation Army Home, Miramar, Edward Francis, was knocked down by a motorcar in Park Road, Miramar, about 8 25 last night. He suffered head injuries and concussion.

Another elderly man. Thomas Crossley, of 109 Taranaki Street, stumbled on the concrete kerb of the rest reserve at Dixon Street, shortly heiore 6 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. He received a compound fracture of the left knee.

A three-year-old child, David Cooper, of 50 Ovcrtoun Terrace, was"'taken to the hospital about 5.45 p.m. yesterday, with a wound to the forehead, resulting from a fall out of bed.

Falling from a bicycle in High Street, Lower Hutt, about 11 a.m. yesterday. Miss Jean Blyth, a photographer's assistant, fractured her left collarbone.

A seaman, M Slater, of 87 Thorndon Quay, was.knocked down by a motorcar in Lambton Quay at 10.45 this morn in £ He suffered a Wound lo~the right arm and a head injury.
