HUTT PARK GOLF COURSE.
By advertisement in this issue, golfers are reminded of the opening of the new public links at Hutt Park from Monday onwards. When these links were occupied by the Waiwhetu Golf Club they were known for the excellence of their greens and fairways, and this still applies now that the public can use them. The course is of nine holes and set in picturesque surroundings. Eas.tbourne and Waiwhetu buses pass the links. Also in the advertisement is an intimation of the attractions at Hutt Park, and these include the motor camp (the most popular in Wellingon), tennis, swimming, canoeing, swings, paddling pool, and a sand pit for the children. Hutt Park, which is controlled by a committee composed of representatives of the Lower Hutt, Petone, and Eastbourne boroughs, is an ideal spot for a day's outing.
