RELIGIOUS SERVICES. LECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH (God Willing). T 0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET • ■*-• lOpp. Paramount, Courlenay Place), SUNDAY AT 7 p.m. Subject: ' "WHAT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST REALLY IS" "IF AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN OR ANY MAN PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE PREACHED UNTO YOU, LET HIM BE ACCURSED."— (Paul—Gals. 1:8-9). Evidence will be produced from the Scriptures to show— (1) THAT the Gospel Christy and ( His Disciples preached was "THE GOSPEL (i.e.. 'good news') OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD" (Matt. 4:23, Matt. 9:35, Mark 1:14, Luke 4:43, Luke 8:1, Luke !):1 and 6, Acts 8:12, Acts 19:8, Acts 20:25, Acts 28:31). (2) THAT "the Kingdom of God" this "good news" relates to is "the Kingdom of God" of the Lord's Prayer— "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth." (Matt. 6:10,)— a Kingdom which Holy Scripture repeatedly and abundantly indicates will be literally established upon earth at the second coming of Jesus Christ, the God appointed King of this coming Kingdom. (2 Tim. 4:1, Rev. 11:15, Dan. 2:44, Dan. 7:13-14, Acts 17:31, Rev. 19:15-16, Isa. 9:6. Zech. 14:9, Psa. 67:4, Psa. 72;- [sa. 5, Isa. 11, etc.) (3) THAT God lias appointed faith and belief in His coming Kingdom the first condition of salvation—for this reason not only was Christ specially "sent" to preach the "good news" concerning it (Luke 4:43) but in turn Christ commanded His disciples to continue the same preaching, saying "Go ye into all the World and preach THE GOSPEL (i.e., "good news") to every creature," adding "He that believcth and is baptised shall be' saved." (Mark 16:15-16. see also Roms. 1:16, 1 Cor. 15:1-2, Gals. 3:6-0, Hebs. 11:6, Mark 10:15, Matt. 6:33, etc.).
