BISHOP'S STRICTURES
REMARRIAGE OF DIVORCEES

LONDON, February 25.
The Bishop of Ely has sent a message to his diocese opposing the admission to Communion of persons divorced who have remarried.
"Too often," he says, "the Church is willing to run with the hare and huht with the hounds. It frowns on birth control, but allows it. It forbids the remarriage of divorced persons, but adds that they may belong to the very inner circle of her fellowship."
