RUGBY, February 24.
Speaking in London today, the President of the Board of Trade referred to the benefits Which would arise from a parallel alignment of the British and United States trade policies, and expressed the hope that the time was at hand when they would each say that freer exchange of commodities and services between the countries of the world was the best thing that could happen to the world. Freer trade, as Mr. Cordell Hull had said, would be a great contribution to peace.
