; -In the champion singles competition of the Eastbourne .Bowling Club only three players are left in, and it is hoped to finish the competition at the weekend when M. Meo willplay the winner between S. Johns'and R. Loe. Play in the champion pairs competition is well under way and all games should be played off within the next fortnight. \ The undermentioned rinks have nominated for the champion rinks competition, but nlay has not yet commenced:—Walker, Battersby, Meo, Bishop; Loe, Thompson, James, Johns; Rockstrow, Hornig, Hall, Cook; Perry, L. Golding, Isaacs, Andrews. ■
