RUNCIMAN'S VISIT
TALK ON NEUTRALITY TRADE SUBJECTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright. WASHINGTON, January 24. The President of the British Board of Trade, Mr. W. Runciman, arrived yesterday. He said he expected neutrality would be one of the topics to be discussed with President Roosevelt.
' Mr. Runciman, after a 50-minute conversation today with the Secretary ot: State, Mr. Cordcll Hull, at wnich it is understood Mr. Hull enunciated his long-held views on the necessity for multilateral trade agreements to increase the stability oi world affairs, went to the "White House for the weekend. Munitions manufacture, the neutrality Question, and trade subjects are expected to be discussed broadly. The conversations will be directed to the promotion of better understanding of the mutual problems of Britain and the United States. Sir George Paish also made what was described as purely a courtesy call on President Roosevelt.
