ROWING CLUB DANCE
(From "The Post's" Representative.) A dance for Petone Rowing Club members and friends was held in the club's pavilion on the Esplanade, Petone. It was organised by the social 1 committee, comprising Mr. T. Jones (club captain) and Mrs. Jones (wears ing black lace), Mr. and Mrs. Watson [ (the latter in black taffetas), Mr. and . Mrs. Crane (yellow taffetas), Mr. and ; Mrs. J. Howe (blue marocain), and ■ Messrs. G. Leopard, L. Boyd, H. and • C. Barraclough, B. Nuttall, D. Postyn, , t>. Boswell, and K. Boswell. An exhii bition of tap and eccentric dancing ■ with songs was given during the even- '■ ing by the juveniles, Phoebe and Ivan Lawson. The dancers included Mr. Voller and Mrs. Voller (the latter in black and 1 white satin), the Misses M. Dumbleton (black flowered georgette), M. O'Neale (green slipper-satin), M. Mcintosh (white lace), M. Hooker (peacock blue taffetas), R. McGill (green silverstriped crepe), M. Tilbury (red checked taffetas), R. Burton (white taffetas), S. August (forest-green mariette), A. Woodrow (bronze figured chiffon), M. Larracy (white crepe), I. Dixon (pink lace), K. Hanratty (green floral georgette), M. Hoyes (floral tafftias), N. Strickland (almond satin), N. O'Shea (green taffetas), H. Jackson-Hughes (ivory lace), M. Wilkinson (cream satin), F. White (black velvet), M. Ryan (blue floral crepe), E. Heppleston (blue sand-crepe), G. Heppleston (green lace), D. Moss (lemon and brown crepe), J. Clarke (white satin), M. Clarke (black and flame ripplecrepe), G. Wyatt (figured rainbow crepe), M. Lowe (blue pique voile), M.
