OBITUARY
MRS. B. BALHARRY. A great many friends will learn with sincere regret of the death of Mrs. Balharry, which took place at an early hour this morning. Mrs. Balharry was formerly Miss Florence Marchant, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Allman Marchant, early and highly-respected residents of Wellington. She had not been in very good health for some time, but was taken rather suddenly more seriously ill recently. Mrs. Balharry leaves one son and her husband, with whom great sympathy will be felt in their bereavement. She was one of the kindest people, and made and kept a large number of friends, all of whom will miss her greatly. WELL-KNOWN AIRWOMAN Many Australian and New Zealand friends of Miss May Bradford, the) well-known airwoman, whose death as the result of a crash has just been announced, will feel sincere regret. Miss Bradford was the only woman in Australia to hold a first-class pilot's licence as well as A and B electrical engineers' ground certificates. She had only recently completed seven years' apprenticeship in the workshops of Mascot Aerodrome. She was an hon- , oured member of the Electrical Associ- ; ation for Women, and the members > will join in the regret expressed at her : early death. ;
