A PATRIOTIC PIANIST
The year's rotations are marked with patriotic periods for Rotarian John Falkinbridge Parker, a Sidcup Magistrate and pioneer member of the Rotary Club of London, who has attended the club's weekly luncheons for twenty-five years without a break. As each week comes round Mr. Parker, who is sixty-five years of age, makes his fellow Rotarians stand while he plays the National Anthem at the close of the lunch, and when the silver jubilee banquet of the club was held he played "God Save the King" for the 1191 st time. As a mark of their appreciation, his fellow-members of the club have presented Mr. Parker with an illuminated address and a silver cigarette box in the shape of a miniature grand piano. When its lid is raised a musical box inside plays the National Anthem. " "
