BEACH AND BUSH
"Living at the seaside is great fun and although the weather is not the kind for swimming I go for a bathe as often as I can. I have just learnt to dive and I think it is great fun. On the rocks my brother Noel and I catch shrimps and small fish, and also crabs which are nasty customers. Have you ever been to Day's Bay bush? If you haven't I'm sure you would like it. There are all kinds of interesting tracks and beautiful ferns and trees." "MIGNON C." (14). Eastbourne.
