GOOD CYCLE RACING RIDERS FROM WELLINGTON Wellington cyclists were prominent at the sports meeting held by the Otaki Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club yesterday. Among those who did well was T. Walsh, a young rider from the Poneke Club, who won the mile and the two miles Blakeway Memorial race. The main race, the Witt McLeod Memorial Cup event of five miles, was won by R. Loader. Horse and athletic events were also on the programme. Results were as follows: — Half-mile Cycling Handicap.—First heat: Hughes, 1; Walsh, 2; Sowerby, 3.
