PERRY'S TURN
WIN AGAINST VINES SEVENTH MATCH OF SERIES BUFFALO, January 21. F. J. Perry stopped H. Ellsworth Vines's winning streak in the seventh, match of their professional series, taking two of three sets to win 6-4, 6-8, 6-2, and lead by four matches to three. Perry was at the top of his form and made many, sensational placements and recoveries to win the applause of 4000 spectators. Vines had difficulty in getting hi» first serves in. He netted many returns and won only the third and seventh games in the final set. The match was reduced to three in-* stead of five sets to enable the players to catch the train to Philadelphia for their match on Friday. In a doubles match Vines and Barnes defeated Perry and Lott, 6-4, 6-3.

NEGOTIATIONS OPENED
NEW YORK, January 20,
The Associated Press correspondent learns that negotiations have opened to obtain Perry and Vines for a professional tour of Australia next season. It is expectcd that the offer of 15,009 dollars which was jnade for Vines and W. T. Tilden to continue their Japanese tour to Australia for three or four matches will be augmented fourfold to secure Perry and Vines.
