A FAMOUS AUTHOR
SUGGESTED VISIT TO N;Z. Some little time ago inquiries were made in London, at the instigation of the Government Tourist and Publicity Department, with regard to the possibility of Mr. H. V. Morton, the wellknown author of travel books such as "In Search of England," "In Search of Scotland," etc., visiting New Zealand with a view to producing a similar book on this country. Advice has just been received by the Rt. Hon. the Prime Minister from the High Commissioner, to the effect that Mr. Morton recently called at the London office and stated that while both himself and Mrs. Morton are looking forward to visiting the Dominion some day, there is no prospect of a trip being arranged for the next few years to 'come.
