DANIELS—PERCIVAL.

The wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick's Church, Kilbirnie, recently, of Sallie, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Percival, Hataitai, and Eric Thomas, only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Daniels. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Keegan, and the altar was beautifully decorated with hydrangeas and tall lilies. The bride, who was escorted by her father, was gowned in magnolia satin, cut on classical lines, and falling into a graceful train. The high-necked bodice had a true lovers knot in front, and was finished down the back with small buttons and loops, while the very full sleeves were drawn into a tight cuff at the wrist. A coronet of orange-blossoms held in place the flowing tulle veil, which was worn over a smaller veil, which was a family heirloom, being worked by a grandparent of the bride over a hundred years ago. Her exquisite bouquet was of pale pink gladioli and roses, with Christmas lilies and maidenhair fern. The two bridesmaids, Miss Jean Daniels (chief) and Miss Merle Daniels, wore dainty frocks of salmon pink stiffened net, with tightfitting bodices and puff sleeves, embroidered with sprays of heliotrope flowers. Their picture hats were of stiffened net, with pale pink velvet flowers all over the crowns to tone with their bouquets of pink and heliotrope gladioli. The bouquets of the bride and her maids were specially made for the wedding by Mrs. Chesterfield, of Feilding.

Mr. W. W. Percival was best man

The bride's mother received the guests in a becoming black lacc ensemble over pink satin, black hat with eye veil, and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations and gladioli. Mrs. T. Daniels's smart blue floral ensemble was worn with hat and accessories to tone, her bouquet being lemon and autumn-tinted gladioli. The bride's aunt, Mrs. Garner (Wanganui) was wearing a black ensemble. When Mrs. E. Daniels left for the north she was dressed in a dusky pink ensemble, pink straw hat, and navy accessories.
