ANY MORE GOLD BOAS ?
Gold Boa did not have her first race till last October, well into her fourth year, so it is not surprising that the next of her dam, March Off's, stock has not yet made an appearance on the Turf. The three-year-old is Valmarch, a chestnut son of Valkyrian, and he will attract notice when his name first appears in nomination lists. In the season she foaled Valmarch, March Off was not served, but the next year (1934) she was mated with Paladin, secured a few months-earlier by Mr. J. P. Herlihy,' and another chestnut colt was the result in_ 1935. At her next service to Paladin, a season later, she was not stinted; and this season she was served by Paladin and by Paladin's son Blatherskite.
