THE TARANAKI MEETING
Stakes ..for the Taranaki J&ckey Club's Autumn Meeting, to be held on February 4 and 6, have been increased this year by £600. The Taranaki Cup carries a prize of £450 and the other events are all well endowed. Nominations lor all events, excepting the Taranaki Stakes and the Taranaki Plate (first contest), close at 9 o'clock on Monday, evening.
