Orr-Walker, S.Mwhen fining eight men who appeared on summons charged with making false declarations for the purpose of obtaining benefit under the Employ* ment Promotion Act. In nearly all the cases, the prose* cuting inspector said, the men wer# drawing sustenance and doing casual work, earning above the statutory limit. ' ~ The Magistrate fined the men tnf amount they had obtained in excesf and ordered repayments by weekly stalments of from five to ten shillings^
