FLOODS IN UNITED STATES
(Received January 22, 10.15 a.m.) CHICAGO, January 21. Continued rains have increased the flooded areas. Motor lifeboats, to be used for rescue work, have been sent to the worst of the affected areas. Red Cross officials in Washington estimate that they are already caring for more than 2000 flood victims.
