AFRICAN INTEREST IN ROTORUA
Advice has been received by the Government Tourist Department from Mr. M. O'Brien, New Zealand Com-] missioner at the Empire Exhibition, Johannesburg, to the effect that right up to the closing of the Exhibition there were many inquiries regarding the curative possibilities of the Rotorua Spa. The special literature dealing with the thermal regions, prepared by the Government Publicity Office and distributed at the Exhibition, was in keen demand and the Commissioner states that, numbers of people approached him inquiring for particulars, having decided to pay New Zealand a visit at the first favourable opportunity.
