KING GEORGE V. MEMORIAL FUND

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 3. The King George V National Memorial fund now amounts to £381,895. During the memorial week from January 14 to 20 the Lord Mayor oi London is to make an appeal to people with bank accounts to sign over to the fund the odd shillings and pence standing to their credit at a given date. It is suggested that the odd shillings and pence in banking accounts over the whole country probably aggregate about £10,000,000.
