NO FRESH CASES

WHAT RESEARCH SHOWS (By Telegraph—l'ress Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. No fresh cases of infantile paralysis have been reported today. The District Health Officer states that the normal course of such an epidemic, as has been proved by scientific research, is from three to four months and further cases may yet be expected. Against this again the Dunedin community will probably be the safest of all owing to the known fact that the infection has definitely spread through the city. This seems to be a contradiction in terms, but such infection confers a good degree of immunity and protection on the community.
