DANGEROUS TRACK
T.T. RACE POSTPONED
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 1. Well over 300 people were disappointed to learn shortly after their arrival at Waiheke today that the New Zealand Tourist Trophy race had been postponed until January 29 on account of the dangerous condition of the track in certain places after the recent rain. Eight riders, when questioned by the committee controlling the race, said they would not ride if given their own choice, six said they would ride if they were told to, and only three said they would ride in any case.
