(Received January 2, 9 a.m.) .BOSTON, December 31. Jane Withers, whose mother an.ounced thai she had received threats to kill the actress unless 50.000 dollars were paid, was guarded by special detectives and a bodyguard when she paid~a visit to her Hew YorJs estate.
