IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVING

(To the Editor.) Sir,—Concerning "Sick and Tired's" letter, I should like to p,oint out several conditions this writer evidently did not consider. Why does not "Sick and Tired" take the broadminded view of things? It is, in my opinion, the offspring of wealthy persons who are generally the Irresponsibles where motor-cars and speed are concerned. Could the correspondent consider the crippling effect his suggestion would have on the motor industry? This would affect the employment of hundreds of New Zealanrlers who are at present earning their living through the motor trade.—l am, etc., INDUSTRY.
