SUPPORT FOR LEAGUE
COVENANT (United Press Association—By Electrto Telegraph—Copyright,) LONDON, December 31. Members of all parties, including Mr. C. It. Attlee, leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party, Mr. Winston Churchill, Mr. D. Lloyd George, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, have Issued a declaration that peace can only be maintained under the League Covenant, with military action for its support if necessary. Similar declarations are being issued in various European countries, signed by leaders of public opinion.
