A blend of the old and the new is to be seen on the aeroplane landingground of the Duke of Richmond and Gordon, at Goodwood, Sussex—near to the famous, English racecourse— where has recently been erected what is probably the only aeroplane hangar... in existence with a thatched roof. The object is to ensure that the building's appearance fits in with that of a plea-sant-looking old lodge which stands on -> the ground.
