Hobson, beat the Australian visitors, R. Duggan and W. W. Melhuish, in matches at a broadsiding meeting last night. Results:— Experts' Points Race, four laps.— Melhuish 1. Time, 83 4-ssec. Duggan and Forbes withdrew. Chevrolet Gold Helmet.—First match: S. Rhodes 1, N. Neill (holder) 2. Time, 69 3-ssec. Second match: Rhodes 1. Time, 62 2-ssec. Neill's machine failed. Experts' Points Race.—Hobson 1, Melhuish 2, Duggan 3. Time, 85 2-5 sec. Second race: Hobson 1, Duggan 2, Forbes 3. Time, 86 l-ssec. Won by 40 yards.
