Price of Silver—Spot, 21 3-8 d per oz; forward, 21 3-lßd, MOUNT MORGAN MINE, Mount Morgan, Ltd., Queensland, has issued the following production report for the four weeks ended December 23:—Production for period, 24110z gold, 165 tons copper; ore mined, 24,677 tons; concentrator treated 25,350 tons, assaying 3.o2dwt gold and 0.74 per cent, copper; concentrates produced, 900 tons, estimated to contain 241 loz gold and 165 tons copper, r Mining operations ceased on December 18 for the holidays of 14 days granted by the Industrial Court of Queensland. This resulted in 80 hours being lost during the period, representing 14 per cent, working time. Operations will be resumed on January 4. DIVIDENDS DUE.
