NEGOTIATIONS REOPENED
AT SYDNEY IN APRIL
CHICAGO, December 19.
Negotiations for a match in Australia between Barney Ross and Jack Carroll, which failed last August, have been reopened.
Mr. Pian, manager for Ross,. announced the receipt of a cable from Mr. Lucas,- the Australian promoter, guaranteeing 50,000 dollars, plus 5000 dollars expenses, for a match in Sydney in April. Mr. Pian said he and Ross were much interested, and he was requesting Mr. Lucas to telephone him.
