There was a large entry for the unconditional fourball competition played on the Miramar links on Saturday afternoon. The winners proved to be J. Shelly and J. P. Colwill, with 8 up. Then followed A. Marsden and W. Flanagan, 5 up; H. Parkin and W. Parkin, D. R. Richmond and J. W. Sandham, J. G. Hughes and G. S. Rees, 4 up; L. D. Hurst and Pearce, 3 up; Gunn and Lockwood, C. Patrick and H. R. Sellers, 2 up; A. E. Mabdn and Hardswicke, H. E. Napier and H. M. Dykes, 1 up; Janes and W. Robertson, all square.
