KARORI CLUB
The Karori Club fired a special match at 300 yards on Saturday afternoon for Christmas prizes. Weather conditions were very favourable the wind variations being very slight, and actually less difficult to estimate than many of the scores indicate. As is quite usual at the 300 yards range, most points were lost in elevation, some good range scores being spoilt by one or i( two shots- dropping into the score off the rifle was made by T. H. R. Boon, followed by H H King and H. V. Croxton. These three, along with J. H. Johnston, win a quarter of lamb each. The fifth prize was divided between R. Bradey and D. R. McCarthy. The' club's next shoot will be held on January 9, when a match for ammunition prizes will be fired at 500 yards.
